Assessments

Know where you stand.
See what comes next.

Connect your ambitions for AI with the environment, people and safeguards that make progress possible. Leave with clear priorities and a practical basis for deciding where to invest your effort.

Choose your starting point

One clear purpose.
Two different perspectives.

Choose the perspective closest to your work. We’ll confirm the right scope together before the assessment begins.

Clarity before commitment

A recommendation should have a reason.

Your priorities give the assessment its purpose.

Understand what the next step depends on.

We bring business context and technical readiness into the same conversation. The assessment helps distinguish opportunities you can pursue from the foundations that need attention first.

Build on what is useful
Recognize the knowledge, capabilities and Microsoft investment already in place.
Make dependencies visible
Identify the access, security, governance and ownership questions that affect readiness.
Give priorities a basis
Connect potential value with the effort, safeguards and evidence needed to pursue it.

What you take away

Core and Progress Map

The Core and Progress Map connects what matters today with the work worth doing next. Four connected outputs give your team a basis for decisions.

  1. Protect

    What must be protected

The trust, relationships, knowledge and security controls the work must preserve.

  2. Evolve

    What should evolve

Where the environment is exposed, underused, or costing more than it returns.

  3. Create

    The value to create

One outcome worth proving, with a named owner and the people it actually affects.

  4. Prove

The evidence that will prove progress

The baseline, success measures and review points agreed before changes begin.

A practical basis for Protected Progress. Priorities, ownership and evidence stay connected. The assessment defines what to measure; delivery and ongoing measurement are agreed separately.

Your part in the assessment

Bring context.
We’ll shape the scope together.

You do not need every answer before you begin. A useful assessment starts with the people who know the work and the environment.

The people
A business or practice leader, someone familiar with the Microsoft environment, and people close to the work being explored. Your IT team or MSP can participate where appropriate.
The starting information
Your priorities, current tools, relevant policies and examples of work that could improve. We agree what information is needed and how it will be shared; please do not send credentials through the contact form.
The agreement before we begin
We confirm the questions to answer, the scope, participants, information needs, timing and fee. Any technical access or deeper review is agreed as part of that scope.
The conversation at the end
Review the findings and Core and Progress Map together. Clarify priorities, dependencies and ownership, then decide which next steps make sense for your team.

A few useful distinctions

What to expect.

Do we need a specific AI project in mind?

No. You can start with a business priority, a recurring difficulty or a question about readiness. The assessment helps make the opportunity and its requirements clearer.

Is this a security audit or certification?

The assessment connects business opportunity with security, governance and AI readiness within the agreed scope. It does not provide a certification or replace a separately scoped security audit, penetration test or compliance engagement.

Does the assessment include implementation?

The assessment produces findings and priorities for action. Implementation, remediation and ongoing operations are separate decisions, with responsibilities and scope agreed before that work begins.

How long does it take, and what does it cost?

Timing and fees depend on the scope and the environment being assessed. We confirm both with you before the engagement begins.

What if we already work with an IT provider?

Their understanding of your environment is valuable. We can include your IT team or MSP in the assessment and clarify responsibilities for any recommended follow-on work.
